- For the first time in 2007, the WGF AG rewarded a price to the class-best of the Abitur class at the Düsseldorfer Berufskolleg (vocational collage) Bachstrasse. With the annual reward and assignment of the attractive prices the real estate trading company acknowledges outstanding academic success and supports competitive thinking in the German society.

- With the relief fund „Wir leisten Hilfe e. V." the WGF wanted to provide unbureaucratical and fast help for the victims of the Loveparade tragedy of Duisburg. In July 2010, the enterprise allocated 30.000 euro as basic assets to the fund, asking other enterprises as well as private people to follow this example with small donations. The donations were passed on to 100 % without any deduction of administrative expenses to the victims and their families. www.wir-leisten-hilfe.de
One year after the tragedy the fund ended its active support and presented the available donations to charitable trust NOTFALLSEELSORGE, which will continue supporting the victims of the Loveparade tragedy.
- Founder of the WGF Competence Center Immobilien und Finanzinnovation at the European Business School (EBS)
- For the period of five years, the WGF AG extends the founder and promotion circle of the Real Estate Management Institute (REMI) at the European Business School (EBS) in Oestrich-Winkel. On 1 October 2009 the WGF Competence Center Immobilien & Finanzinnovation took up its work. At the WGF Competence Center a think tank is to establish for the next years, which is to make a relevant contribution for the research of financing alternatives within the real estate field. A first publication was published in October 2010.
